The Play That Goes Wrong is a fast-paced comedic farce about a theatrical production of a 1920s murder mystery that goes wrong. This project was part of a collaboration with Salve Regina’s Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance, where the design was selected for promotional materials, including the playbill and advertisements, to engage and invite the Newport community.

The recreation of The Play That Goes Wrong poster is inspired by Stanford White’s 1879 architectural design that features basket-weave plaster and gilded ornamentation. I paid homage to the original poster design by maintaining the play's distinctive typographical orientation, where the "e" is rotated. The off-kilter positioning of the letter, combined with the torn curtain, reflects the humor embedded in the play.
